A prime example of the timeless art of Sicilian turned French Jean Gerbino. His mosaic pottery stands out from all other great potters that worked from the French village of Vallauris. His pieces are instantly recognizable as his, through form, color and technique. Gerbino was heavily influenced by the Japanese neriage techniques.
This simple shaped vase is probably from the late 1950s and is in great vintage condition. It is marked but hardly legible.
