This carved wooden mask is a fantastic example of African tribal art, probably made somewhere in the mid 20th century. The shape of the face together with the amazing patina makes this mask a fantastic decorative piece, calm and understated. We believe it could be a Fang (Ngil) mask but we are not sure (let us know if you know!). Great ethnic wall piece!
